Ryanair to abolish 'Check In' desks
Ryanair is to phase out 'Check In' desks. They already charge for checking in baggage and aim to have only one in five passengers checking in hold luggage in the future.According to Ryanair 75% of passengers Check In online already. I must say that has not been my experience at airports of late, but they must know.
The aim of the airline is to reduce the cost of the flight by trimming costs to the bone, while charging for everything from paying by card (even though there is no cost free option), hold baggage, in flight meals, prize draws and just announced in flight mobile phone calls and text messaging.
