New Tenerife routes from flyglobespan

Scotland’s low fare airline flyglobespan, voted airline of the year are offering the first Aberdeen <> Tenerife and Durham Tees Valley <> Tenerife service this winter. Although flyglobespan thought they could not offer any routes until next summer they have managed to add Aberdeen <> Tenerife to their Winter programme. The service starting on November 3rd for Aberdeen and November 7th for Durham Tees Valley, for flights to Tenerife all year round from only £49.99 including taxes. It is also thanks to the Aberdeen City Council’s decision to lift the airport’s opening hour restrictions to allow many more new routes for the future.
“Tenerife is a very good destination to offer as our first Aberdeen service,” says flyglobespan chairman Tom Dalrymple. “It has an attractive climate all year round and is particularly appealing in the winter when the temperatures there are invariably the best in Europe.”
With flyglobespan expanding since they started in 2002 they are expecting to offer more flights next summer with the brand new Boeing 737 700's bringing many more Mediterranean resorts in range.
