Manchester Airport wins value for money award
Manchester International Airport has won a prestigious IATA Eagle Award for providing a value for money service to airlines. The airport provides good customer service while charging well below the levels set by the CAA.
Giovanni Bisignani, Director General and CEO of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) said: "It is a special pleasure to congratulate Manchester Airport on winning an Eagle Award in 2006-a good partner and a model for other airports to emulate. They have proved that well-managed airports can be both efficient and cost-effective."
