Ryanair and easyJet offers for Air Wales customers.

Ryanair and easyJet have both stepped in offering cheap tickets on routes affected by Air Wales' retreat from scheduled passenger services.
Ryanair is offering tickets on its Cardiff <> Dublin route for £2.49 plus taxes and charges (about £31 return, inclusive).

EasyJet meanwhile, is selling flights on its Bristol <> Newcastle, Bristol <> Glasgow and Bristol <> Belfast for £25 (inclusive) each way. The rate applies to travel made from 24 April 2006 to 30 September 2006. The fares are available to Air Wales passengers with Air Wales booking confirmations by phoning 0905 821 0905 in the next 6 days. They will also need to present their Air Wales booking confirmation at easyJet check-ins where a maximum of £25 will be charged for the flight. Passengers must provide the agent with their Air Wales booking reference number and present their Air Wales booking confirmation at check-in as further proof of booking.

Finally, bmibaby was "shocked and disappointed" by Air Wales' decision to stop scheduled services. They had been marketing Air Wales flights and are still trying to find out what to do regarding Cardiff <> Paris flights.
